The way it should be

Online dating today is a great place to break the ice. My friends that I chat with about online dating tell me romantic first dates do happen on-line without the touch part! There is always that person who hides behind an ID who isn't truthful and plays you along, but it isn't all that common. I tell them all I ever hear are terrible stories about how people get hurt doing the online dating drama. He said or she said this or that and it all turns out to be something else, that kind of thing. The women I know who use a free online dating service tell me these guys are screened and they trust their service that the dates are legit. (No married men or woman allowed.) Well one would hope so!

I am curious how they always believe a person is who they say they. When they just pop up on a screen out of nowhere, I guess you just have to like they say, have faith in the service they us.

I have never had a need to do the online dating thing. I would think a face to face Touch first date would be the way to go. I guess if online dating is all you have time for to find that special someone who am I to knock it. This kind of first date is often as meaningful they tell me and gives both people a chance to sit back and relax and get to know each other.

A face to face meeting eventually happens of course. Then the real romantic touch first date happens. That Romantic spark is there or it isn't. They say almost always if it doesn't turn into a love entrest it is always a friendship that develops. From where I sit there's nothing wrong with that either.

i know a couple who have been together now 3 years who met online and where chat buddies for about a year. They flew to see each other every few weeks and then parted back to their own lives. Each time they say it was harder to part, until they finally dicided they weren't going to part from each other ever again. He sold his business and house and moved across the country to be with her. Now, that's commiment!
