The way it should be

He thought, 'man, I've really fooled everyone… people don't even realize I'm a turd'. He wanted to be sexy though, to really feel it in his heart (he didn't know what 'it' was, but he knew it must be something). But you can't really force those things now, can you? Lord knows he tried, but making a proposal to care didn't really seem to pan out. It's something that just comes naturally to most people. That's not to say that everyone cares about somebody, or something, but those that don't care, don't care that they don't care which results in not much of anyone noticing. Alvin noticed and he didn't find it at all cute. Not only did he notice that he lacked concern, but he also realized that there was a general state of apathy that was creeping over the world like that movie, the blob. oozing through the vents of houses, rolling right over the masses. He wanted more than anything to feel love, or even pain. Pain was nice because at least it was feeling something. Falling in love was an addiction that he had finally kicked. It was one proposal he had taken under his wing. The proposal to love, but not fall in love. Now that was sexy, he thought.
