The way it should be

Steph was in need of some male attention. It had been almost two years since she had spilt from Lucas, her boyfriend of five years. All of her friends were sick of her mucking up the numbers for their dinner parties etc. and so had decided to talk to her about using a dating site to improve her romantic part of her life. All of her friends felt like she needed something else in her life to keep her occupied other than her job otherwise she may end up a cat woman. Her friends kept joking about her becoming a cat woman but they were actually secretly worried about it becoming a self fulfilling prophecy.

After her intervention, Steph agreedit may be true that she needed male attention and so decided to sign up to a dating site. She just hoped that something would come of it. It had been too long since she had last had sex and she did not want to give it up too easy. She wanted to have sex for the first time in ages with a sweet sensitive and caring guy. Not simply some guy who could not care less and just wanted a brief encounter.

Steph began checking the dating site every few days, to see if anything had happened and to look for new men who were available. She could not wait to meet and date men again. Now even she was looking forward to meeting someone. To be honest, she was still hung up on her ex and that was the main reason she had not wanted to date before now. It was exciting. She had now emailed one man who seemed perfect. He was the same age as her and was into the same things as her as well. It was only few minutes until she had a reply from him. He said he could not wait to meet up and suggested her favourite bar followed by a meal at her favourite restaurant. It almost seemed to good to be true. They arranged for him to pick her up from her house at 7pm the next night, and he would be her personal chauffeur for the night, driving her between places. He said that he wanted to spend the night treating her like the princess that she is. It was certainly a change. Even when she had been with Lucas, she had been treated like an equal which was nice at times but sometimes she just wanted to be spoiled and treated like a lady. She was really looking forward to meeting him and all through a dating site, she would never have thought it.
