The way it should be

I decided to try free online dating. I never had tried it before but I did not see the harm in it. I figured that perhaps free online dating could actually be more interesting than normal dating so free online dating was worth a shot right? My friend who was actually my best friend had met her husband to be using a free online dating website and they really did seem like the real deal. They were really close and I even figured that perhaps they could actually be soul mates which was just amazing and I was happy for them. I wanted to be just as happy as they were though because I had only ever had stupid flings where the relationship is only usually stable when in the bedroom. Now I wanted a proper relationship and a serious commitment to somebody rather than just an embrace and then sex. I thought if my best friend can find true love on the internet then perhaps I could too. It took me a while to find some good dating websites but I eventually found one that seemed to suit me perfectly. There were plenty of men that appealed to me and I became in contact with some really nice people, many of whom became good friends so I was pretty happy that even if I did not find somebody special, at least I had made some good friends that hopefully would stick around for quite a long time if not forever. Then one day, as I was browsing a few pages on the site, I came across a guy who just stood out. I don't know why he stood out to be honest, but he just did and when I saw a picture of him I could not help it but a huge smile spread across my face. He lived close by and he seemed nice from what his profile said about him so I decided to send him a message. It was great because he was online at the time so replied pretty much instantly and it was not long before we were meeting up over cups of coffee and going shopping. We had lots of things in common which was great and he even invited me on holiday with him. I suppose that is where our romance and passion sparked. It was just a great holiday of pure romance. I was so thankful for free online dating.
